Spreader explores an ephemeral realm created with painted paper cut-outs and wheat paste. The first part of the project consists of a series of mural interventions throughout the city of Minneapolis (MN, USA) in the year 2015. Each of these pieces were overlapped with human-made sites, reclaiming the public space, often overwhelmed with corporate content. The second part exists in the gallery space, presenting a more detailed and large-scale work. The ephemerality of these interventions celebrates the act of being present. It also works as a metaphor of the impermanence present in nature, seen in the cycles of birth and death.
